Royal baby BOMBSHELL! Why Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland WON’T be caring for grandchild

Another family feud brewing?

She’s set to arrive in London any day now for the birth of her grandchild. However, it seems Doria Ragland won’t be sticking around for as long as we thought after her daughter, Meghan Markle gives birth.

Early reports suggested Doria would be staying on with Meghan and Harry at Frogmore Cottage to help the couple navigate the first few weeks of parenthood.

But according to The Mirror, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently looking to hire a nanny instead.

And when it comes to finding the perfect person to look after their newborn, a source told the publication that Meghan “favours an American over a Brit.”

Not only that, but the former actress is also keen to “explore the possibility of a male nanny.”

It’s been reported whoever the royal couple chose will be paid approximately $140,000 a year and will need to be interviewed by Harry and Meghan themselves.

“The successful one will be based at their new home in the grounds of Windsor castle and have use of a car,” The Mirror reports, adding the position needs to be filled in the next three months.

News of the recruitment comes just weeks after it was thought the Duke and Duchess were considering celebrity nanny Connie Simpson to look after Baby Sussex.

Connie was recommended to them by good friends George and Amal Clooney.
