The royal family looked unusually stiff in the portrait after baby Archie’s christening, with many royal fans pointing out Prince William’s awkward appearance was yet another obvious sign that not all is well between the two couples.

Now, a royal author has said the growing distance between Prince Harry and Prince William is devastating the Queen and is causing her own relationship with the Duke of Sussex to suffer.
Speaking with Nine News, Juliet Rieden revealed that as Queen Elizabeth begins to pass off more of her royal duties onto Prince Charles and Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge has begun to stray from his little brother’s more relaxed path.
“The two brothers have very different roles,” Rieden revealed.
“Prince William is going to be king one day. The Queen is 93 and she’s offloading a lot of her work both to her son and to her grandson.
“William has really had to up the ante and take on a lot of this heavy lifting.”
Further comments on how the British monarch is handling the precarious situation between her grandsons have been made by the editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward.
“Her Majesty does not care for the alleged feuding amongst her grandchildren William and Harry.
“That would make her very sad. But she would never interfere with their lives.”
The revelation comes after rumours of a feud between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton and Prince William, remain persistent.
Speculation of a royal rift reached fever pitch last month when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex parted ways with William and Kate on their shared charity, the Royal Foundation.
While it is unclear where the source of the tension lies, it seems the slow parting of William and Harry isn’t helping relations heal.
