Preparations have officially begun for Kate Middleton and Prince William’s third child, as barricades and road closures surrounding St Mary’s Hospital have been put up.
With the duchess officially on maternity leave, many have predicted the highly anticipated birth will take place any moment.
Crowd barriers have also been erected, presumably in preparation for the crowds of reporters, photographers and well-wishers that will inevitably gather when the expectant mum goes into labour.
St Mary’s Hospital has prepared its private wing – the Lindo Wing – for the duchess, the same place that Prince William and Prince Harry were born, as well as Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
