Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has given a candid interview in which she lavishes praise on her close friend the Duchess of Sussex.

“Meghan is such a progressive, modern girl. She’s what the world is today – a self-made woman who looks like each one of us,” said the former Miss World, one of the world’s ‘Top 100 most influential women’.
“I mean, she’s stunning, but she is so completely herself.”
Priyanka fears Meghan has had some bad press and blames ‘racism’, saying: “It’s really unfortunate but if there’s anyone who can handle it, it’s her. The beauty of Meg is that she’s been herself through all of this.
“A lot of people got to know her after she dated Harry, but I knew her before and she’s the same chick.
“Now that she’s got a real platform, she talks about the same things she always did.
“She’s always been the girl wanting to move the needle.”
Meanwhile, it’s emerged a publicist who works for ex-soccer star David Beckham has become Meghan’s ‘rock’. Izzy May was introduced to Meghan by mutual friend Markus Anderson, a consultant for club Soho House, and attended the Sussexes’ wedding with him.
The PR woman has become a “close confidante” with a friend saying, “Meghan values their friendship so much but Izzy keeps their relationship really quiet and under the radar.”
