Princess Mary dazzled in a blue sequin frock as she stepped out solo to a glamorous reception at Copenhagen’s Christiansborg Palace on October 24.
The 46-year-old paired her stunning dress with a pair of navy satin heels and tiara and eye catching diamond earrings, without her husband Crown Prince Frederik, heir to the Danish throne.
As per royal protocol she added a pale blue sash to complete her regal look.
The gala was held to mark the opening of Parliament and the Australian born Princess joined Queen Margarthe to the occasion.

Crown Prince Frederik, meanwhile was recently spotted Down Under attending the Invictus Games, held in Sydney two days ago.
On Monday October 22, the 50-year-old was seen congratulating his homeland’s sailing team on their Silver medal win.
“HRH The Crown Prince was among the first to congratulate Denmark, today, won silver in sailing during Invictus Games in Sydney, Australia,” the Danish palace wrote.

“This week, his Royal Highness visits the multicultural event the Invictus Games, where 25 Danish veterans are attending.
“The idea behind the Invictus Games is to honour injured veterans and thank them for their efforts for their country,’ the palace continued.
It is not clear whether Princess Mary will be able to clear her royal engagements to join her husband in her home country.
