Upon arrival, Mary was received by Denmark’s Education and Research Minister Tommy Ahlers.

The prestigious event promotes gender equality in the workplace.

‘Denmark is daring for talent, but we are lagging behind our Nordic peoples and other countries when it comes to redeeming women’s potential in the labour market,’ the InnoTalk website explains.

‘We are especially lagging in the field of research, innovation, entrepreneurship, IT and technical and science subjects. Fields that are crucial to the country’s future competitive power.’
