The wife of Prince Frederik paired her dress with a light pink bag and nude patent heels.
The mother-of-four was greeted by an adorable young girl, who handed her a bunch of flowers.
The princess was joined by the minister for higher education and science, Tommy Ahlers.
The Green challenge encourages companies to develop research solutions that could benefit the environment.
