Yet another royal tell-all is underway and causing turmoil in the Danish palace. The new book is said to reveal a ‘big secret’ about Crown Prince Frederik, 49, which reportedly has his wife Crown Princess Mary, 46, up in arms. The secret apparently has never been told and is said to ‘surprise all’.
The book is written by Mikael Rosanes, the ex-husband of Camilla Rosenberg, who is a great-niece of the Queen of Denmark, so it would suggest the book has some authority.
The autobiography is said to contain some ‘unknown secrets’ about the royal family. Although the author is very reluctant to reveal the nature of exactly what those secrets are, he does say he thinks the Queen is a snob and his ex mother-in-law is vicious.
He keeps the details about Frederik close to his chest but says: ‘It’s something which has not been told earlier, and it will surprise you all.’ Princess Mary and Prince Frederick met in a Sydney bar and Mary, born in Tasmania, moved to Europe to be with Frederik.
They share four children together – Prince Christian, 12, Princess Josephine, 10, and twins Princess Isabella and Prince Vincent, seven.
Recently their eldest son Prince Christian hit the headlines when he disappeared during a school skiing trip.
Danish reports revealed that Christian was enjoying the slopes of Veysonnaz, Verbier, along with his sister Princess Isabella, when he disappeared from sight.
Danish publication Taet Paa stated that it was a terrifying hour-long wait before Christian was found again. And this isn’t the first time Christian has caused his parents, Mary and Prince Frederik, concern.
Back in 2015, Christian was apparently moments from death after he got swept out to sea during a family trip to Australia.
The then 10-year-old was pulled from a deadly rip by lifeguards at Mermaid Beach on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
With the new writings imminent, Christian could be the least of the couple’s concerns later down the track.
