It’s royal baby fever!
Just weeks after Kate announced her third pregnancy, Australia’s own Princess Mary is set to reveal her own exciting baby news.
Well-placed palace sources in Copenhagen tell New Idea that the Danish royal family is poised to make an official announcement that Mary and husband Prince Frederik are set to become parents once again.
The couple, who are already parents to Christian, 11, Isabella, 10, and six-year-old twins Vincent and Josephine – have refused to confirm or deny growing pregnancy repots in recent weeks, leading speculation to rise even more.
A surprise visit from Mary’s Aussie relatives to Denmark last week has only spurred on the royal baby whispers, with palace sources revealing that Mary would’ve used the face-to-face visit to announce her special news.
‘Mary and Fred were seen celebrating with her family and friends one night last week at a restaurant,’ says a Copenhagen royal watcher. ‘They were all toasting Mary – but she was suspiciously the only one not drinking alcohol.’
‘They were all in very high spirits, and everyone was hugging the princess and congratulating her. It’s not secret in royal circles that a pregnancy announcement is imminent.’
It’s claimed the baby news is the reason that Mary didn’t travel with Fred, 49, to Australia recently for a Hamilton Island sailing meet, choosing to stay at home and rest.
