It’s been a busy time for Australian-born royal Princess Mary and her husband Prince Frederik of Denmark – as the much-loved pair stepped out for solo duties once again.
Princess Mary and Prince Frederik have been attending most royal duties alone in recent times – mainly because Frederik spent time in hospital for back surgery.
Whilst the royal pair were spotted together at the opening of the Danish Parliament earlier this month, they both stepped out solo this week to attend separate events.
While Prince Frederik jetted off to Argentina to attend the annual general meeting of the Olympic Committee, Princess Mary took the couple’s children Prince Vincent, Princess Josephine, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, to a performance of the play The Magical Mask at the Glass Hall Theatre in Copenhagen.
The princess wore a patterned, pink and pleated skirt for the occasion – where she shook hands with members of the cast who were dressed in theatrical finery.
The princess’s children meanwhile appeared happy to attends the show and posed for photos alongside their mother.
While Mary has been looking after the couple’s children, it appears that Prince Frederik has been enjoying a game of golf.
With his back seemingly much better after surgery, the prince spent time with golfers representing Denmark at the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires.
His Royal Highness is in Argentina to support Danish athletes taken part in the event.
