She just returned to London after a holiday with her new husband Jack Brooksbank, and Princess Eugenie looked well and truly refreshed as she headed straight back to work at Buckingham Palace yesterday.
The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson was the picture of happiness as she met the recipients of her grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Awards, a programme which recognises the special achievements of young people in Britain.
Eugenie, 29, couldn’t contain her laughter as she shared a joke with some of the winners, including Strictly Come Dancing champion Ore Oduba and his wife Portia.

The Queen‘s granddaughter was particularly taken with one member of the crowd who seemed to perform for the young royal, 9Honey reports.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is given to those who commit to remarkable self-improvement in one of three fields: volunteering, completing a physical challenge or expedition and developing practical skills.

Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, took over the scheme in 2017 following Prince Philip’s retirement from official royal duty.
