It seems the adorable presence of Prince Louis at this year’s Trooping the Colour totally eclipsed Princess Charlotte debuting an interesting new hairdo’, that was not the same as the one the little royal started the parade in.

Eagle-eyed fans first noticed four-year-old Princess Charlotte at the annual event on Saturday, when the youngster was seen poking her head out the window at Buckingham Palace next to siblings Prince George and Prince Louis.
In the shot, Charlotte is seen wearing her hair in a half-up-half-down hairdo with a sweet blue ribbon tied on top of her head.

However, before Charlotte joined the rest of the royal family to wave at the crowds from the Buckingham Palace balcony, it would seem mum Kate Middleton had a change of heart, and instead fashioned Charlotte’s short brown locks into two braids, tying them at the back with the same blue bow.
The Duchess of Cambridge also dressed her only daughter in a sweet blue patterned dress with puffed sleeves for the occasion.

Trooping the Colour is the official Queen’s birthday parade, in which all senior members of the British royal family join Queen Elizabeth II to watch the troops of the Household Division to pay a personal tribute to the Queen’s official birthday.
While Meghan Markle joined Prince Harry for the Trooping Colour parade – despite still officially being on maternity leave – baby Archie stayed at home.
