Princess Beatrice and boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have been dodging engagement rumours left, right and centre as of late, and to be honest, the couple’s constant public displays of affection have done nothing to quell rumours.

Princess Beatrice has been dropping hints for a while that she is ready to commit, with the dramatic switch up to a vegan diet prompting royal fans to think the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York is starting her wedding diet early.
The Princess of York was also spotted in July wearing a $9,700 Cartier bracelet, with Edoardo’s initials engraved into it.
All these signs mixed with multiple sources claiming that Beatrice will announce her engagement to her Italian tycoon beau very soon have many believing that Beatrice’s 31st birthday on Thursday will be the day Edo pops the question.
“People [are] saying that it won’t be long before Bea does the same”, a source told royal journalist Richard Eden, referring to sister Eugenie getting hitched to husband Jack Brooksbank in October of last year.
Another insider told The Sun that things are moving very quickly for the pair who met at sister Princess Eugenie’s wedding last year.
“Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time….it’s already been discussed by her friends.”
However, there are some reports that although Beatrice will announce her engagement on her birthday, the pair are in fact already engaged.
“Edo is still designing the perfect ring, but basically it’s a done deal,” an insider to OK! magazine.
“He presented Beatrice with a Cartier bracelet engraved with his initials as a sort of promise and word is he asked her to be his wife and she said yes!”
