All engagement bets have been suspended in England as rumours Italian tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi finally proposed to his girlfriend Princess Beatrice on her birthday.

Ladbrokes have become infamous for accurately predicting the movements of the royal family, so when engagement bets were suspended on Princess Beatrice’s 31st birthday on Thursday, punters took that as a sign that the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is engaged.
“It looks like Edo will be popping the question to Princess Beatrice sooner rather than later, leaving us with little option but to suspend betting on the happy couple making an announcement,” Ladbrokes spokesperson Jessica O’Reilly told Express.co.uk.
“It’s time for Fergie and Her Majesty to go hat shopping.”
Back in November, a friend told British publication The Sun that the couple were moving extremely fast: “They hit it off instantly and have a real laugh together.
“They’ve been on holiday together and Beatrice introduced him to Fergie and her dad.
“Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time.”
