He’s only seven months old, but it appears Prince Louis is already something of a style icon!
The youngest member of the Cambridge clan was pictured wearing the cutest white and blue outfit for Prince Charles’ 70th birthday photoshoot, and since the images were released, the romper suit has completely sold out!
The hand-stitched outfit by Le Coqueta – which retails for £72 ($126AUD) – is said to have sold out within hours of the images being released, with the London-based store receiving orders from as far afield as South Africa, Australia and South Korea.
“It sold out immediately – it’s amazing the effect it has on a small brand like us!” Founder Celia Munoz told People of her brand, which is inspired by traditional Spanish designers.
“It was a total surprise but really wonderful, and I am very proud.”
And eagle-eyed royal fans were quick to note that Louis’ sell-out romper is nearly identical to one worn by his father, Prince William in 1983.
“These outfits never go out of fashion, they are so timeless. I think it was a lucky coincidence,” notes Celia.
