Meghan Markle made her first official appearance alongside Queen Elizabeth II for the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.
The former actress was joined by her soon to be husband, Prince Harry and her future in-laws including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
But, despite being on her best behavior for the service, it didn’t take long before Harry had her in stitches. And now the cheeky Prince is the centre of a right royal embarrassment.
The pair politely watched former One Direction singer, Liam Payne, perform John Mayer’s Waiting on The World to Change but as the final notes rang out the cheeky Prince was caught raising his eyebrows at his fiancée, prompting her to crack up laughing.
We wonder what Granny has to say about Harry’s behaviour?
Following the service, the couple stopped to meet a group of pupils and teachers from around the UK and Meghan revealed that she can’t wait for her upcoming wedding.
“She was saying what a lovely service it had been and her first service at Westminster Abbey. We congratulated her on her engagement,’ Holly Hartley, principal of Thistley Hough Academy told the Daily Mail.
‘She was delighted and said she was ‘very, very excited’ she stayed chatting with us for quite a while – what a lovely, lovely lady.’
Harry and Meghan will wed on May 19 at Windsor Castle and the couple have invited 1 200 members of the public to share their big day from the castle grounds.
