Angela Levin’s biography ‘Harry: Conversations with the Prince’ has revealed the royal had a rather relaxed approach to the news.
In 2015 Levin quizzed Harry on whether he was bothered about falling down in the succession line.
He replied: “The reason I am now fifth is because of my nephew and niece and I could never wish them away. They’re the most amazing things ever.”
With the birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, Harry is now sixth to inherit the throne.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle opted to not give their son Archie Harrison a royal title in order to raise him as a ‘private citizen’.
