They captivated the locals during their tour of Fiji – but Prince Harry and his pregnant wife Meghan Markle, now the Duchess of Sussex, snuck off for some alone-time on a secret island while on tour.
The couple spent their final night in Fiji at a secluded island in a private resort at the Vatuvara Private Islands in Northern Lau.

According to the islands’ website the luxurious destination has been described by Forbes Magazine as ‘one of the world’s most beautiful places”.
“Kaibu Island is home to the Vatuvara Private Islands Resort, with three all-inclusive private Villas on 800 acres,” the website states.
“Guests travel to and from the island aboard the resort’s private Twin Otter aircraft, originating in Suva or Nadi, Fiji’s International Airport. All island Villas are available for adult guests 16 years and older.”

The royal couple most likely stayed in one of three secluded villas, crafted in “natural textures and materials”
The resort also features two restaurants serving fresh food from the islands organic farms or fished from the ocean.
Prince Harry may also have enjoyed a game of golf at the resorts four-hole “organic certified” golf course.

“Vatuvara is one of those islands you will not forget,” Fiji’s Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya said on the royal couple’s island stay.
“It showcases the Fijian spirit and what we have as Fijian people. It’s absolutely beautiful. Stunning. They would have enjoyed themselves.”
