She stepped off in a breezy NZ wearing an above-the-knee black dress paired with a chequered beige coat.

And the Duchess’ look was chic but thriftier than usual.

Meghan’s dress was by ASOS maternity wear – retailing for around $30 – and she was wearing a Karen Walker trench coat.

The dress looked to be ASOS’ ultimate mini tea dress.

In the blustery conditions Meghan’s dress flew up a little – and she revealed some leg as she negotiated the steps to the tarmac.

Meghan was later seen adjusting her dress as she prepared to greet the welcoming party.

According to ASOS the Duchess of Sussex has played a part in the brand increasing sales by a whopping 129 per cent.

ASOS has seen an increase in their tailored clothing thanks to the Meghan Markle “effect”.
