Prince Harry shared an image of him holding his son on Father’s day on June 16- with Archie’s face covered by his hand.

Despite the sweetness of the two photos, Archie’s looks remain ambiguous due to the sepia tone of the image, frustrating some royal fans.

Many are wondering why Prince Harry and Meghan have chosen to hide their son from the public, and now we have the answer.

Parenting expert Victoria Jennings offered her insight to Express, revealing it’s all a matter of privacy.

Jennings said: “The Duke and Duchess are clearly proud parents and will likely be spending these first months as new parents getting to know their new baby.

“All parents have the right to request some anonymity for their child if they so wish and spend the first part of their baby’s life bonding and learning more about them.

“It is always a parent’s choice as to how many images they share.

“One could argue that all children should be allowed anonymity and should Meghan and Harry prefer to keep baby Archie out of the spotlight then their wishes should be respected.

That wasn’t the only strange thing about Archie’s first baby pictures!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have broken the tradition of providing a public view of a royal baby immediately after their birth.

Kate Middleton shared images of Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince George mere hours after they were born, however, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have opted for a more private approach.

According to Jennings, the different approaches of Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton could be due to their different interests.

“Kate’s love of photography has also played an active part in the images shared of her children as her hobby of capturing those precious moments clearly shows and being the mum behind the camera allows her to capture those moments so naturally.”

Like other celebrities, Meghan Markle has chosen to share images that hide her son’s face in order to preserve Archie’s anonymity.
