When Prince Harry saw his bride Meghan Markle walk down the aisle, he couldn’t help but shed a tear.
Who could forget the image of him wiping tears from his eyes as the two stood side-by-side in front of the world.
But, Prince Harry was so pleased with Markle’s appearance that he couldn’t stop ‘thanking’ her makeup artist following the ceremony.
Speaking to InStyle magazine, makeup artist Daniel Martin shared the sweet story.
‘After the ceremony, Harry kept saying thank you. He was thanking me for making her look like herself.’
Martin added that the natural look, including Meghan’s freckles on full-show, was at the request of the Duchess of Sussex.
‘The last thing you want [is] to look at your wedding pictures and go, ‘Remember when highlighting was the rage?” he told the magazine.
Previously, Martin told Good Morning America that his goal was to make the bride look ‘lit from within.’
‘It wasn’t about a trendy makeup. It wasn’t about a lot of eye, or a lot of lip. It was about her, and her being confident.’
