A group of preschoolers got the surprise of their life yesterday when Crown Prince Frederik dropped in on the unsuspecting kids to help launch their fun run.
16 young children between the ages three and five, embarked on the 170-metre run, and the future king of Denmark got to blow the starters horn.

In the adorable pics, Prince Frederik is seen giving high-fives and cheering on the young runners.
The youngsters were participating in the Legepatruljen, which is an educational fun run offered to those kids in the area.
