Photos emerged yesterday of the mother and son looking rather tense as they attended a conference and gala dinner in Buenos Aires.
The Danish royals are in Argentina to as part of a larger delegation that seeks to make inroads in the South American country.
The delegation will focus on food, the environment, sustainable solutions and health.
This state visit is the 54th state visit made by Queen Margrethe in a foreign country and the first since she visited Ghana in 2017.
