Tensions are at an all time high at Buckingham Palace – as Prince Harry reaches boiling point over Prince Charles’ meddling ways.
Harry is even said to be on the verge of uninviting Charles and Camilla to his impeding wedding to Meghan Markle if the pushy Prince doesn’t stop trying to interfere with in his son’s big day.
According to reports, Charles is insisting on taking charge of Harry and Meghan’s reception following their May 19 nuptials at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
“At a time when everyone should be happily looking forward to a royal celebration, the family has been ripped apart, with no reconciliation in sight!” a royal insider spilled to The National Enquirer.
According to the publication, 33-year-old Harry is still fuming following his father’s earlier reported demands that he dump his American girlfriend.
Naturally, Harry ignored him and went ahead and announced their engagement anyway, but Charles’ tactless words have caused a rift between the royal father and son.
“Egged on by Camilla, Charles told Harry the Suits actress wasn’t suitable to become a royal wife because she’s older and American,” a source allegedly claimed to the publication.
And while Charles couldn’t stop the wedding going ahead, he’s doing everything in his power to control the looming nuptials, including insisting his trusted aide, Michael Fawcett take over planning the reception.
“Harry and William have long suspected that Michael wields some kind of power over Charles,” the insider revealed.
“Harry doesn’t trust him and certainly doesn’t want him or Charles involved in his wedding.”
And with Harry reportedly banning Charles from his boozy bachelor party in the Swiss Alps, lets hope they can work things out before the big day! The royals have yet to comment on the Enquirer‘s allegations.
