Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, made a bit of a hash of things as they attempted to unveil a large horse head statue for the Prince’s Countryside Fund Raceday in Ascot, UK.
Watch the awkward unveiling below
The Duke and Duchess dressed in matching hues as they took to the famous racecourse on Nov. 23 for the occasion.
But things didn’t quite go to plan when the sheet covering the impressive horse’s ears got stuck – which meant Charles and Camilla needed a bit of help as they each pulled on a yellow cord.
As the pair yanked at the sheet, the watching crowd could be heard giving them words of encouragement.
“Pull, pull!” they chanted.
Fortunately, the sheet finally came off – but not before bystanders had leapt to assist the Duke and Duchess.
Both appeared to find the series of events a little amusing.
