It has been reported that Queen Elizabeth offered Prince Andrew and Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson a summer hideaway after news that Epstein had died.
One royal aide revealed: “They are both facing some grim times. Balmoral is a very quiet, very remote place where people can work things out in total calm.
The royal has now been seen at Aberdeen airport earlier than expected. It is understood that The Duchess of York left on Sunday after a run in with ex-father-in-law, Prince Philip.
The 66-year-old financier was accused of sexually abusing dozens of underage girls and had pleaded not guilty to federal charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy. Mr Epsetin was facing up to 45 years in prison if found guilty.
Andrew has denied accusations he indulged in sex sessions with underaged girls, allegedly supplied to him by Epstein.
