Former Suits actress Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton were multi-millionaires in their own right before marrying into the British royal family – but what are the Duchesses actually worth?
According to Express.co.uk, Kate Middleton was worth an estimated £5.3million ($9.7 million) before marrying Prince William. According to Time magazine, the majority of Middleton’s fortune came from her family’s online party planning business.
Prior to marrying Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was a successful actress with a leading role in American legal drama Suits.
Markle, who played Rachel Zane from 2011 to 2017, earned an estimated $65,000 per episode, according to Express.co.uk. While the Duchess of Sussex has officially retired from acting, she will still receive royalties from her many roles over the years.
Now that the two women have married into the Windsor family, all their expenses will be paid by Prince Charles vast estate.
Safe to say money has never been an issue for these women!
