After some serious backlash over potentially naming Baby Sussex Diana, after Prince Harry‘s late mother, Meghan Markle has found a different way to pay tribute to the other woman in her husband’s life.

And it has a very Italian ring to it.
According to betting agency Ladbrokes, the name Allegra has become a favourite for Baby Sussex, if of course, it is a girl.
With odds jumping from 100/1 to 20/1, Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati told The Mirror “It’s probably the most bizarre eleventh hour move we could’ve seen, but the money is coming in thick and fast for Allegra.
“We wouldn’t be surprised to see the name right up there with the frontrunners by the time the birth gets announced.”
According to the publication, “It is reportedly one of the names Harry’s mum Diana wanted if she had a girl.
“Allegra is an Italian girls name which means joyful and lively.”
