Yesterday five of Meghan Markle’s closest friends anonymously wrote a letter to People magazine, defending their friend from the ‘global bullying’ and claiming that her father, Thomas Markle, has not reached out to his daughter despite his public pleas for contact via the media.
Now, the Duchess of Sussex seems ready and willing to put the drama behind her as she stepped out with husband Prince Harry to attend their second red carpet event of 2019: the Endeavour Fund Awards.
A pregnant Meghan Markle glowed as she wore a white Givenchy blouse with a black pencil skirt and her hair tied back in a sleek low bun, while Harry wore a suit alongside her.
Kensington Palace tweeted the event is to “celebrate the achievements of injured or ill service personnel who have used sport and adventurous challenge as part of their recovery and rehabilitation.”
