Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby name has been announced according to a US report.
The unconfirmed report alleges that the couple are having a girl and they have decided to name her Diana, after Harry’s late mother Princess Diana.
According to In Touch Meghan “promised that if they ever had a little girl that they would name her Diana.”
The publication also alleges that Harry was not sure about giving their daughter his mother’s name for fears it would upset his elder brother William.
“Harry didn’t want to create more tension by William thinking he’s trying to steal Charlotte’s thunder,” they said referring to his niece.
But Meghan eventually talked her husband round. “She managed to convince him that naming the baby Diana isn’t a bad thing because going back in history, many royals have been named after their predecessors,” the source added.
