And even though their baby, Archie Harrison, is still only weeks old, the royal couple are determined to provide the best for their firstborn – with nothing being more important than choosing the correct nanny for their bub.

According to The Sun, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have dismissed two nannies as they weren’t right, and now they are onto nanny number three.

Sources close to the Sussexes told the publication that Buckingham Palace does not comment on staff hiring, however they went on to reveal the reasons for the numerous nannies Archie has had so far.

“Often there are different needs at different stages of the baby’s life. The first nanny was a night nurse.

“But Harry and Meghan do not want to rush this or take any risks getting this decision right. It’s deeply personal and can depend on the needs of the baby and parents,” the source told The Sun

Meghan gave birth to baby Archie on May 6, and they then introduced him in public two days later at a photocall in Windsor.

Since then, royal fans have been treated to two new photographs of the mini royal on the Duke and Duchess’ Instagram account.

According to a Harper’s Bazaar US report, the royal couple’s third nanny is a British-born female nanny, but she’s not permanently based at their Frogmore Cottage home

However, with the royal couple headed on a tour of Africa later this year, it’s expected she will “provide additional support” during that time, reports the magazine.
