It’s common knowledge Meghan Markle had prior relationships before meeting Prince Harry, but we didn’t know just close she was with her previous boyfriends, especially with one in particular.
A photo has resurfaced of Meghan cosying up with her old celeb chef flame, Cory Vitiello, while they dined in Toronto.
In the pic, obtained by TMZ, you see can Meghan sitting on Cory’s lap with his arms wrapped around her waist while he plants a big smooch on her cheek.
According to sources the picture was taken in Atlas Restaurant in May 2016, which wasn’t too long before she started seeing Harry.
Meghan and Harry reportedly began dating in the summer of 2016 after they were introduced via mutual friends.
Cory and Meghan dated for two years and friends close to the pair thought they would eventually marry.
Cory’s mother even spoke fondly of the former Suit actress.
‘We are very fond of her,’ declared Mrs Vitiello to Daily Mail when news broke of Meghan’s engagement to Harry.
‘She is a lovely, lovely woman. Very smart, very bright, very caring. She’s a warm personality, very sincere. We very much enjoyed the time we spent with her. She fitted very well into our family. The Royal Family, and Britain, is very lucky to have her.’
Yet the couple broke off, with Meghan marrying a prince and expecting her first child next April and Cory is now married and has a child.
