Heavily-pregnant Meghan Markle is reportedly spending five nights in the Big Apple to attend her baby shower and catch up with stylist Jessica Mulroney and other confidantes, Harper’s Bazaar revealed.
Although the details of the baby shower have been kept under lock and key, her friends have potentially given away a huge clue as to the gender of the royal baby.
According to the Sun, the Duchess of Sussexes’ guests were seen arriving at the New York hotel bearing gifts wrapped in blue which has led many royal fans to believe the Duchess is having a baby boy.
The former Suits star is said to have visited Laduree in New York’s SoHo district on Saturday for macarons and tea before being spotted on Monday wearing a Victoria Beckham black wool coat and a grey tweed pageboy cap from Helene Berman.
Meghan’s ultra-private baby shower is reported to have taken place inside the lavish surrounds of the Mark Hotel Penthouse on Tuesday afternoon, and hours later the newly minted Duchess was spotted heading for dinner with a cohort of her closest friends.
The mother-to-be was photographed arriving at Ralph Lauren’s upscale Polo Bar restaurant in Midtown East with her celeb BFFS Serena Williams, Jessica Mulroney and Markus Anderson.
Businessman Anderson reportedly introduced the actress to Prince Harry back in July 2016.
The stunning royal smiled broadly for the cameras and looked typically chic in dark wash maternity jeans from Hatch Collection, velvet boots by Kindred and the same Victoria Beckham tailored coat she wore on Monday.
The 37-year-old Duchess carried a black Stella McCartney tote and wrapped up against the numbing New York chill with a black scarf.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child together in April.
