Meghan Markle’s half-brother has accused the royal bride-to-be of forgetting ‘her roots and her family’ and has labelled her as ‘phony’ in a shocking new interview.
Thomas Markle Jr. has hit out at his sister, claiming the 36-year-old actress has lost touch with her relatives in recent years after finding fame on Suits.
‘She is giving the greatest performance of her life,’ he told the Daily Mirror in an interview published on Thursday.
‘She is acting phony. I’ve read that Meg wants to be like Diana. Diana was worshipped by everyone in the world. She was loved for the right reasons.
‘That’s what Meg wants, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. She’s not genuine like Diana,’ he went on.
‘Once she got into Hollywood she turned into a different person. She’s clearly forgotten her roots and her family.’
Markle continued, ‘Meg likes to portray herself as a humanitarian, a people’s person and a charitable person but she is none of those things to her family. It’s torn my entire family apart.’
Thomas revealed he had not received an invite to the royal wedding.
The half-brother said he hoped senior royals might step in to ensure he and other relatives get invited to the wedding. The siblings share the same father, who reportedly lives in Mexico. It is unknown if he scheduled to attend.
