When Prince Harry announced he was marrying Hollywood actress and divorcée Meghan Markle, royalists raised their eyebrows in concern.
And now, a salacious old romance between the Suits actress and a US marine is set to smear the reputation the Duchess of Sussex has built with her husband, and potentially cause embarrassment for the royal family, a new report suggests.
According to Express.co.uk, Meghan carried out a scandalous dalliance with a US marine as a bright-eyed 20-year-old while in Argentina.

According to the publication, Meghan was undertaking a six-week internship at the American embassy in Buenos Aires as a University student studying Theatre and International Relations.
Aside from a career in TV and film, Meghan also had her sights set on a career in the State Department.
According to the 2018 book Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, while Meghan was working as a junior press officer, she was also dating a US marine.
“Her superior, now retired, recalled her as a young woman who was good to work with and who carried out her assignments with efficiency and ingenuity,” famed royal biographer Andrew Morton wrote.
“Though memories are hazy, there was talk of a dalliance with a US marine tasked to guard the embassy compound.”
Mr Morton continued: “What was more certain was her love of Spanish cuisine and the city’s buzzing nightlife.”
Meghan would later marry American film director Trevor Engleson in 2011, before divorcing in 2013.
On the 19 May 2018, Meghan Markle married Prince Harry in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, and the couple share one son together, Archie Harrison.
