With only a few weeks to go until royal baby No. 3 arrives, all eyes have been on Kate Middleton and her growing bump. But, this week eagle-eyed fans couldn’t help but notice the duchess’ unusual fingers.
While visiting a primary school in Oxford, England, Kate was checking out an innovative charity program aimed at supporting emotional health and wellbeing.
Looking her typically stylish self in a $123 cream maternity coat (which she also wore while pregnant with Princess Charlotte in 2015), the pregnant royal was greeted by many well-wishers.
But as she held onto her small, brown clutch fans couldn’t help but notice that her fingers appeared to be the same length.
Typically, most people have a noticeably longer middle finger than their ring and index fingers. Many fans commented on the fact that the duchess’ fingers all appear to be roughly the same length.
Previous research has suggested that if you have a longer index finger than ring finger, you’re likely to be less co-ordinated and bad at sports, but you’re probably better at verbal tasks.
But if your ring finger is longer, you’re probably less anxious, better at visualizing 3D objects rotating and have more athletic abilities.
