Proving she really is a big kid at heart, the Duchess of Cambridge couldn’t wipe the smile from her face as she spent the morning with a bunch of adorable Scouts in Essex.
The mother-of-three spent her time playing various games with the youngsters, and at one point she even got stuck in a den.
Looking radiant in a khaki Barbour jacket and a maroon Mockneck sweater, Kate attended the Scouts headquarters at Gilwell Park to mark the sites 100th anniversary and to learn about the organisations plans to introduce scouting to younger children.
After the formalities, the 37-year-old took part in a number of fun activities with the kids, including boat building and balloon rocket assembling.
And if her smile is anything to go by, she certainly had a ball.
Not afraid to get her hands dirty, one image shows the future Queen climbing into a den against a tree with a little girl.
“It’s very waterproof in here,” she was overheard saying.
