Royal fans are concerned for the Duchess of Cambridge following reports she may have suffered a minor injury while enjoying a spot of gardening.

This week, Kate stepped out at a number of royal events, including the Chelsea Flower Show, wearing skin-coloured band aids (plasters) on both her thumbs.

And, as one can imagine, royal watchers were quick to suggest that perhaps the mother-of-three injured herself when gardening recently. However, this is yet to be confirmed.

Earlier this week, Kate spoke about her passion for the outdoors and why it’s so important for children to enjoy it, too.

“I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young kiddies,” the 37-year-old explained, before revealing her favourite gardening memory from her younger days.

“Boulder hopping in the Lake District,” she divulged.

Kate recently co-designed a garden at the Chelsea Flower Show 2019 called Back to Nature. The garden, which featured a swing and a tree house, aimed to celebrate countryside and encourage families and communities to rediscover nature.
