Spending the morning with a bunch of adorable Scouts in Essex Thursday, the Duchess of Cambridge looked in her element as she played various games with the youngsters.
But did you know the royal was a Scout herself?

According to PEOPLE, Kate joined the 1st St Andrew’s Brownies pack in Pangbourne, Berkshire, when she was just 8 years old, with the above photo taken around 1990.
On Thursday the Duchess of Cambridge, who wore the traditional Scouting scarf as she visited the young Scouts at Gilwell Park, revealed she’d like to sign up Prince George and Princess Charlotte for Scouting too.
