The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be planning their first family getaway. So could we be the first to meet baby Archie Harrison?
Well, according to reports, the couple have another place they’d like to take their little one first.
It’s said Harry and Meghan are currently preparing for a trip to South Africa – a country close to the Duke’s heart.
In fact, it’s believed officials in South Africa have already been told to expect the visit.
“People have been informed that the Duke and Duchess will be coming,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“Early preparations have begun.”
It is also understood that the pair will visit a number of countries on the continent during the royal tour.
Last year, Prince Harry told Town & Country that Africa is the place “where I feel more like myself than anywhere else in the world.”
It is also a place his late mother, Princess Diana, was particularly fond of.
Meghan is also said to be keen to take her son to the US as soon as she can.
“For Meghan, it’s just as important for Archie to learn about her family history as it is for him to learn about his royal ancestors,” a source previously told Us Weekly.
“She has plans to go on a trip to LA with him once she’s comfortable taking him on a plane.”
