On the first day of Trump’s visit, the controversial billionaire-turned-politician was feted with a ceremonial welcome and a grand state banquet at Buckingham Palace during his stay in London, where the leader of the United States and Queen Elizabeth shared many happy-looking conversations.
Donald Trump also sat next to Queen Elizabeth II at the D-Day commemorations at Southsea Common in Portsmouth on Wednesday.

The American leader, speaking in France on the 75th anniversary of D-Day, praised the royal family and Her Majesty for being an “incredible lady”.
“I feel I know her so well and she certainly knows me very well right now, but we have a very good relationship also with the United Kingdom,” Trump began.

Continuing his high praise, Trump continued at a joint sit-down press conference in Caen with French President Emmanuel Macron: “I found it to be a very amazing period of time, especially having spent so much time with the Queen, who I think is an incredible lady.”
During his visit to Britain, President Trump also mingled with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, while chatting with British Prime Minister Theresa May and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the state dinner.

While Prince Harry met with Mr Trumps daughter, Ivanka Trump, Meghan Markle was at home on maternity leave, taking care of Archie Sussex.
Well, this is certainly the most unlikely of friendships!
