Has Prince William just given away the royal baby’s name? Book makers seem to think so!
Wills has many believing his second son, born last night, will be named Arthur – a very traditional name in the British royal family – after he gave what many are calling a major clue about the couple’s choice for their third child.
Betting odds have plunged from 14-1 to 2-1 after William’s apparent, and very public, tease. Wills – who said ‘You’ll find out soon enough’ when asked directly about his choice of name, made a major point of name checking a royal photographer outside the hospital, when he was leaving with wife Kate and their three kids.
According to multiple reliable witnesses, Wills pointed to Arthur Edwards, uncharacteristically announcing to listeners, ‘There’s Arthur, there he is.’

Edwards has a close association with the family, having been friends with William’s late mum Princess Diana.
Says the snapper: ‘When George was born I bet on Arthur and lost. Hopefully this time I will have a winner.’
Arthur is one of Prince Charles’ middle names, and also one of William’s.
