The earrings are designed by luxury jewellers Van Cleef & Arpels and are the Magic Alhambra design and are made of 18 carat gold and are set with 158 diamonds.

She wore them to the state dinner and reception at the Coco Ocean Hotel on day two of their West Africa trip.

“Created in 2006 by Van Cleef & Arpels, the Magic Alhambra jewellery creations gather different-sized Alhambra motifs, coming together in a joyful dance,” says the designers.

The Duchess first wore the earrings in 2015 to the Presentation of the Man Booker Prize.

Camilla also owns the Magic Alhambra Malachite earrings, which are listed for around $12,000.
