Camilla Parker-Bowles has decided to travel home early from her royal tour of Australia with husband Prince Charles, just days before the couple’s 13th wedding anniversary.
Express claims the duchess will travel home on a commercial flight to London, while Prince Charles is scheduled to travel to North Queensland and the Northern Territory, finishing the tour in Vanuatu on April 10th.
The couple’s wedding anniversary is April 9.
According to a palace insider speaking to Express.co.uk, this is because the Duchess of Cornwall ‘doesn’t want to take too much on.’
‘The Duchess doesn’t want this, she does get tired,’ the source spilled. ‘The schedule is too much for her, as she’s 70 years old. She doesn’t want to take too much on.’
The schedule for the couple’s six day tour was jammed packed, with the pair on Aussie soil to open the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
