The news of Prince Harry’s engagement to Meghan Markle has been met with joyous raptures worldwide. However there’s one person who is supposedly less than thrilled about the impending nuptials; Harry’s step mother, Camilla.
A palace insider told the GLOBE that Prince Charles’ wife has been whispering vicious comments about Meghan Markle while attending parties and events with Britain’s elite.
Camilla allegedly branded the Suits actress a ‘brazen hussy’ and ‘an embarrassment to the royal family.’
‘Camilla has declared war on Harry’s fiancée,’ says the palace insider.
‘She says Meghan has so many strikes against her, she’s unfit to become a royal bride.’
Camilla has apparently taken issue with things like Meghan being older than Harry. She’s also said to be unhappy that Meghan is previously divorced, a commoner and not even British.
‘She told one crony, ‘If I was already queen, I would never allow this union to go forward!”
With Harry and Meghan’s wedding date planned for May next year, 70-year-old Camilla is apparently hell-bent on trying to break up the pair before the big day.
The palace insider also says that Camilla spun into a drunken rage shortly after the couple’s engagement announcement. The thing that particularly irked Camilla was the fact the ring features two diamonds from Princess Diana’s personal jewellery collection.
‘It’s so important to know she is a part of this with us,’ Meghan said of the stunning ring with Harry adding that his mother and Meghan would’ve been ‘best friends’.
‘Camilla went berserk at the references to Diana,’ the palace insider revealed.
