“Kate has decided it’s high time she and Wills devoted more time to each other,” discloses a royal source.
“They have got their hands full with three children and it has struck Kate that perhaps she and William don’t get as much quality one-on-one time as they used to have together.”
The combination of Prince Louis’ arrival last May, their often separate royal duties and the ongoing stress of their strained relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan, has meant the couple haven’t been able to prioritise their own relationship in recent months.
“Kate is aware that they have been married more than seven years now and is anxious to nip any risk of the seven-year itch in the bud,” explains the source.
So as well as planning date nights together and a return trip to the Seychelles where they honeymooned, the couple are thinking about renewing their marriage vows.
“They want to do something very intimate and low-key, the complete opposite to their wedding. They are a great team, but they really need to relight the flame.”
