Royal style observers has noticed that Meghan Markle's wardrobe has significantly changed since her relationship with Prince Harry went public last November.
The Suits actress has been adhering to the Queen's rule of 'no visible knees.'
According to several reports, Her Majesty has told the women of the royal family their hems must always sit below the knee. She's also not a fan of exposed shoulders, apparently.
Before Markle began dating the royal she was regularly snapped in above-the-knee dresses and shorts, which can be seen below.
However, since going public with her 33-year-old royal boyfriend, those hemlines have gone to the knee.
Writer Katie Nicholl told The New York post that Prince Harry has taken it upon himself to educate his girlfriend on royal etiquette.
'He knows how daunting this will be for Meghan and he’s keen for her to be relaxed in the company of senior royals,' she said.
Harry will have made sure Meghan knew how to address the queen and how to behave in her presence,' she added. 'He calls her ‘Granny,’ but after Meghan had curtsied and called her ‘Your Majesty,’ she would have reverted to ‘ma’am.’ It seems strange to mere mortals, but it is how Kate addresses her.'
It's apparent that the actress is being mindful of modesty in every outfit she steps out in - see below, all the outfits that Meghan has worn when making appearances alongside Harry.
In every outfit, Meghan has covered her knees and her shoulders, clearly abiding by Her Majesty's rules.
