The announcement comes after UK breakfast radio presenter Chris Evans declared the Sussexes' are already enjoying family time with their little one.
Evans pointed to the fact that Queen Elizabeth has visited Harry and Meghan's new home at Frogmore Cottage in recent days, telling his listeners: "We sit here still finding ourselves. Some say minus a new royal baby or do we… ladies and gentleman?"
His news presenter Rachel Horne then asked: "What do you know?"
And Evans replied: "I'm not sure what I know, but I think I know something."

The mystery deepens as royal commentator Omid Scobie told Twitter the Duke of Sussex will embark on a royal trip to the Netherlands on May 8 and 9, "unless Baby Sussex arrives that late!".
What we do know, however, is that Meghan is being cared for by her mum Doria Ragland who touched down in London from LA roughly two weeks ago.
