Crippled by pain and desperate to keep her vision, sitcom queen Roseanne Barr's triumphant TV return is being threatened by frightening health problems, GLOBE reports.
Despite the huge success of her rebooted hit, Roseanne has been complaining about her grueling filming schedule which she believes is causing a rapid decline in her physical condition.
'Roseanne is alarmed by how badly her eyesight has deteriorated in recent years and is terrified she may soon lose her sight,' a source told GLOBE.
The actresses eye problems were originally diagnosed as incurable macular degeneration, but Roseanne now reveals doctors were wrong.
The 65-year-old suffers from various other health problems too. Insides tell GLOBE she can barely walk.
Previously, Barr has revealed that she was admitted to a state psychiatric ward after a near-death experience left her profoundly changed.
The star, says she was hit by a car and dragged 30 feet, an accident which she claims changed her whole outlook on life.
‘I had an out-of-body experience,’ she is quoted this week as saying in a National Enquirer interview. ‘I felt like my body died. I remember I left my body and went to a different place.
‘I saw my body below, like some crumpled thing that didn’t belong to me. I went through a white light. It wasn’t frightening. It was wonderful.
‘I remember deciding to leave Earth and then coming back.
‘And then when I came back, I was a totally different person.’
