Fenty launched with an incredible 40 different shades of foundation impressing women from the get go. Beauty brands launch all the time so why the excitement over this one?
Well, if you happen to have skin tone that falls outside of cream to light tan, you'll already know the answer to that question. And the answer is this - if you're very pale or olive-skinned, it can be very, very difficult to find a shade of foundation that suits and flatters your complexion. But with Fenty's full 40 shades that simply was not an issue. There really was a shade made just for you - and for everyone else.
And now, there's a concealer for you (and the rest of us) too.
Fenty's Pro Filter Concealer falls into four different categories - light, medium, tan and deep and there are a swag of shades within those categories. Riri herself is pretty damn excited about the launch of this one too and she shared her glee via social media.
"We all got a lil’ something to cover up!," she posted to her Instagram account.
"Blemishes, dark circles, bags, and even hangovers, #PROFILTRCONCEALER is #THECURE to hiding it all in a creamy formula that’s longwearing and creaseproof. Who’s ready to get it on January 11??"
The post clocked up more than 220K likes in 10 hours. Clearly Fenty fans were pleased to hear this news!
Rihanna posted a video of herself demonstrating how to use the new product and it looks genuinely genius!
It covers, it brightens and can even be used as a highlighter. And a delicately pretty one at that.
In the video, Rihanna that if you know your Pro Filt'r Foundation shade you can simply opt for the concealer that corresponds. Otherwise try and test a few - you will find one that's truly perfect.
The Pro Filt'r Concealer launch will coincide with the release of eight new Pro Filt'r Setting Powder shades and another 10 Pro Filt'r Foundation shades, taking the range out to a full 50 as well.
They will sell in Australia at Sephora.
